Potato Pancakes or “Latkes” are commonly associated with traditional cuisines of Poland, Germany, Austria and other Eastern European countries. Our Potato Pancakes are made with fresh potatoes, flour, eggs, onions, carrots and spices. Suggested toppings are either sour cream or apple sauce. Some folks prefer sprinkling potato pancakes with sugar.

Cooking Instructions: For Best Quality Let Pancakes thaw. Preheat skillet with 4-5 tbsp. of vegetable oil. Place Pancakes in a skillet on medium heat for 2-3 minutes. Turn occasionally. Oven Preheat oven to 350º F. Place Pancakes on a greased baking sheet pan. Heat approximately 2-3 minutes fresh, 4-5 minutes frozen. IMPORTANT: Overcooking decreases quality. Do not refreeze.

My only complaint was that there was no information on the enclosed "Food Handling List" on how to prepare the potato pancakes for serving. A quick call to S&D Deli solved that problem though and the potato pancakes were absolutely delicious!

It's funny we have a german deli here in the OC I ordered their potato pancakes years ago!! They were so bad I spit them out!! Growing up in Detroit with a huge polish community I miss the food sooo much. I am pleased I found you guys and you ship!! These pancakes were cooked perfect I had them with my applesauce and they were to die for! I shared them with my co workers everyone loved them!!
