Delicious delicate dough filled with mashed potato and cheddar cheese. Pierogi of the finest quality, made from the freshest ingredients, according to traditional Polish recipes.
Each Pierogi container displays the ingredients, cooking instructions as well as all dietary information.
For the price of $9.50 you receive a dozen (12 pcs) pierogi. Pierogi are packaged for us in Chicago in a sealed styrofoam container. The total weight of 1 dozen package equals approx. 1 pound.

Cooking Instructions
1.Do not thaw Pierogi or Dumplings.
2.Prepare a medium size pot of water, add a teaspoon of salt. For Fruit Pierogi or Sweet Cheese Pierogi ad just a pinch of salt.
3.Bring water to boil. Transfer frozen Pierogi or Dumplings carefully to boiling water, do not try to separate them – they will separate in the process of cooking. Do not stir water during cooking.
4.After adding frozen product water temperature drops. Wait couple minutes until is starts boiling again and Pierogi or Dumplings come up to the top. From this moment count about 4 minutes of cooking on medium heat.
5.Drain with strainer spoon and arrange on a plate. Dress with melted butter and onions or sour cream.

We ordered the potato and cheddar pierogi, along with other items, shipped to South Carolina to serve during Christmas festivities. These were a hit! I topped them with sauteed onion, chopped fresh parsley, and a little shredded cheese. They were gone in a flash!

Being from the 'burgh but now living in a distant land beyond the delicious ethnic influence of Polish cuisine, I was ecstatic to discover the existence of an on-line oasis of culinary comfort in the S&D Polish Deli! It's difficult to adequately describe how the genuinely home-made flavor of these marvelous pierogi transport me back to a time in my youth as I stood in my grandmother's kitchen watching as she prepared a meal of pierogi and kielbasa for Sunday dinner family get togethers. These pierogi are not only a delight for the palate, but for the mind as well.. They're magical!

Lovely little delights of cheese and potato! Some burst open in shipping. Maybe because of the heat or pressure in the plane with shipping or the truck. BUT, our tummies where HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY!!!!

This is a tradition in our family to make Pierogi's for Christmas dinner. Living in California and sending away for these is a delicious treat. I wish S & D Polish Deli was closer. The food is fantastic and definitely worth buying from them.
